Discontent - A Night Of Manicured Noise

To belatedly mark the release of the acclaimed Manicured Noise compilation Northern Stories 1978/80, Caroline True present an evening of forward looking nostalgia for the grim and discontented days of the late 70's, where punk angularity clashed with disco beats and avant garde aspirations and a template for pop's future in the next decades was painstakingly brought to life.

DJ sets by: Jon Savage (England's Dreaming/Teenage), John Kertland (Caroline True Records), Steve Walsh (Manicured Noise), Hayden (Caroline True Records), 2 Kilos.

An evening of classic Factory / Post-Punk / Punk-Funk / Dub and just plain great music in store-along with appropriate visuals from Sav. CDs and posters available on the night.
