A new music festival is born...
On the 23rd September 2006 Platt Fields Park in Fallowfield will play host to Manchester's biggest new outdoor music festival.
Some of the UK's finest bands and best new musical talent are lined up to play on the 2 stages and you can also expect some intimate shows from some very special guests in our smaller performance spaces.
Badly Drawn Boy, Elbow and Graham Coxon are all playing the main stage along with a host of others. Andy Rourke (The Smiths) is putting together a very special band for the occasion, expect to see some very familiar faces up there with him!
Tipped to be Manchester's next big musical export, The Longcut will be headlining the second stage along with the likes of Sunshine Underground, The KBC and Roland Shanks.
The line-up section contains a list of the artists who have confirmed so far, check out the news page for information on further acts as they confirm.
As if the music wasn't entertainment enough we have also laid on a visual arts area, market, loads of interesting food choices and of course the odd bar or two. We are convinced you will find plenty of stuff to float your boat!
