Notes: Factory Records and New Order commissioned artist David Mach to create an installation in the Haçienda. It consisted of thousands (?) of New Order 'Confusion' 12" singles stacked around some of the central steel pillars. There was also a limited edition poster, along with an advertising leaflet.
Poster: 9" x 24"; leaflet: 4" x 11.75".

Notes: A full-page (grid-layout) advertisement in the Nov/Dec '86 isssue of 'The Catalogue' listing 1986 CD releases (FACD 10, 25, 75, 100, 144, 150, 154, 164. 166, 200) and planned (matching the CD issue) DAT format (FACT 'D') releases for 1987; only one of the DAT format releases listed (FACT 200D) was actually manufactured.
It contains the only use of a "bar code-style" ('digital') Factory Records logo.

Music festival held at Heaton Park, Manchester, August 4, 1991. Factory intended to release 'Cities In The Park' as an LP in early 1992, which was then given up in favour of a video, which was then given up as well. The video was then released in 1992 by Palace Video.
The event was subtitled: "In Memoriam Martin Hannett". (A week later, Factory released FACT 325 'Martin, The Work of Martin Hannett'.) Posters and t-shirts were made for this event.
