FACX 79 Factory Records Christmas Gift 1979

Factory's first Christmas present issued in December 1979 was a 1" square red plastic box with a small silver chain and black & silver sticker stating "FACX 79, this christmas, feel safe with modern music". The box contains two rubber ear-plugs.

This gift is perhaps part of a series of safety-themed items (tying in with the "Use Hearing Protection" imagery on FAC 1 and FAC 2, as a dustmask was also sent as a Factory Records Christmas present in 1979. The sticker with this item states: "A Factory Product - for your protection Xmas 79-80" but it was not assigned a FAC number.
