Original cassette in orange plastic pouch; FACT 16a "The Graveyard" recorded at the Graveyard Studios; FACT 16b "The Ballroom" recorded live at the Electric Ballroom, October 1979; spot the David Byrne lookalike in the bottom left of the picture! The original cassette release came in several different coloured plastic pouches (orange initially followed by blue, brown, green, grey and red). The cassette is a bit of a nightmare in that it tends to gunge up the heads of cassette players. As part of their legendary series of boxed cassettes, FACT 16C appeared. It contained exactly the same tracks as the original version. In 1994 Creation / Revola issued the album for the first time on compact disc as part of a general ACR reissue programme. In 2004, SoulJazz Records re-released 'The Graveyard and the Ballroom' on compact disc (cat no. USCD20).
