MUSIC - THE DURUTTI COLUMN
The elemental two piece blossoms into a nine piece orchestra and will be giving the first performance of the work WITHOUT MERCY to be released on album this Autumn.
Friday and Saturday, 17th and 18th August, 8.00p.m.

FILM - FEVERHOUSE
The first public screening of the most important feature to come out of the North West in how many years?
Directed by Howard Walmsley. 50 minutes. Thursday, 16th August, 9.30p.m.

DANCE AND JAZZ - THE JAZZ DEFEKTORS AND KALIMA
Break dance has broken; it as replaced here's to the thirties. The new jazz dance performed by the Manchester group who have shown and danced the way, KALIMA perform the new jazz-pop of which they are the founding fathers and mothers. Monday 13th August, 8.00p.m.

MUSIC - QUANDO QUANGO AND 52nd STREET
The two groups who have remained unhyped in England and therefore unsung, while moving from cult to overground in New York where their perfect beat move feet. Tuesday, 14th August, 8.00p.m.

VIDEO - THE FINAL ACADEMY DOCUMENTS
First public showing of the two cassette documentary video to be released by IKON FCL this Summer.
William S. Burroughs, John Giorno, Brion Gysin, Anthony Balch. Video from now and then. Two hours. Thursday, 16th August. 7.00p.m.

HAIR - SWING
For one week only SWING opens a southern branch - the most talked about hairstylists in the North.

MUSIC - SECTION 25 and STOCKHOLM MONSTERS
Section 25 will make the first London appearance of the year to coincide with the release of their radical album FROM THE HIP. Raw power and fairground melody from ALMA MATER, a new work by the Monsters.
